Staff Riana Congratulations to Member of the Month New Members Welcome! Sign up for an account and post your character application to be reviewed before playing!	Attention Please take note: Troubled Helix is an Intermediate Roleplay and is designed to be viewed in Internet Explorer v.7. the graphics and text may not be as clear if you are using any other browser. Story so far London is divided three divisions………… there are those that have absolutely no idea what is happening around them, that their great city hides a secret……….a kind of silent war….then there those fighting in the war, first the Helix a race of their own a tragic legacy from the devastating explosion that obliterated the countries capitol nearly 25 years ago, and then there are those who wish to keep humanity ……..well human, know as the H.S.T Helix serum task force they are resistant to change fearful of the unknown, mostly government led involving those know what was responsible for that frightful explosion that sunny day in March, they fight day and night disposing of evidence of a higher humanity……..they fight and kill what they consider to be the freaks of nature without compromise to hide a secret that would rock the world. Now its your decision which are you ……..an innocent? Merely going about your everyday Life unknowing unseeing of whats around you but about to be given the wake u of your life? A Helix an poor unfortunate freak of nature, an accidental legacy left over from experiments gone wrong? Or are you H.S.T? Fearful of the unknown? Or fearful of the truth…… The stories of these people will unfold before our very eyes. Some will make us tearful while others will give us hope. Join us as their story is written and as the new world unfolds and we watch these misguided groups: Embrace their destiny. Chapter one: - Story so far

A freak explosion twenty five years ago in the centre of london caused many to die or become injured, it wiped the city out almost as we know it but as we all know humans are adaptable and above all survivors........those that survived the blast were soon rebuilding their lives and getting on with things in a way only us humans can do. Bodies were buried, buildings and livelihoods rebuilt. In the ten years following the explosion life carried on as normal nature giving and taking away life at its will but during this time adults and children were changed their genes altered in ways that only the wildest of imaginations could percieve no one knew the answer to these sudden changes in human genetic code or why it only affected a few

These modifications were the result an experiment gone dreadfully wrong the legacy of an explosion that killed hundreds and left behind heart ache and a dark secret..................

Deep beneath the city a government funded research lab was looking into creating the ultimate weapon a serum combining HUMAN and ANIMAL dna had been created that once coming into contact with humans with certain genetic patterns would alter their genetic code and ultimatly create a super human with abilities that were percieved in only the wildest of imaginations or found in the wildest animals. The end result .........a super human weapon, the experiment was going nicely onto the last stage of development huge vats of the serum were created the government was excited until one sunny day in March something went dreadfully wrong and the whole lab erupted in flame, big enough was the explosion to wipe out most of the city.

Twenty five years on in the underground maze that is the bottom floors of the University of London there hide the Helix's a race all of their own, children and adults alike whose genetic code was changed and giving them abilities only percieved by the wildest of imaginations after the devasting explosion that near obliterated the countries capitol, there are those who wish to study them uncover their secrets and those who simply wish to kill them to keep hidden their own guilty truth.

The stories of these people will unfold before our very eyes.The Helix as they learn to accept their powers and control them while facing down an nemy so powerful that it wasthe start and could, well be the end of their race. The HST the government run cell that looks to obliterate all living prove that The Helix serum ever existed and The Innocents going about their every day lives unaware that within ther city rages a war .......a war that only one side can win.

Some will make us tearful while others will give us hope. Join us as their story is written and as the new world unfolds and we watch them:
